I am all about new technology in the classroom. It speaks to our students, even when we don’t want to admit that it is true; however, I am learning that while I am a fan of using new technology with my kids, I am NOT a fan of new programs that I am required to use.

For the last year and a half I have struggled with using a new lesson planner, one that was as buggy as anything. Now that I have that program under my belt, my school is switching to a new program, and I find myself struggling.

So, what is it with acclimating to new technology but not new programs? Anyone else have this same issue, or is it just me?
